The semi finals and finals of the 17th Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition will be held during the 2008 Colloquium in Glasgow. The arrangements for the moot court are being put in place by a local committee, in which representatives of the Local Organising Committee take part along with IISL members from Scotland. The Case Concerning the Continued Provision of Lifeline Satellite Services to Countries in the Face of Satellite Operator Insolvency can be found on the website http://www.spacemoot.org. Three Judges from the International Court of Justice will be invited to judge the Finals.

Regional rounds will again be held in Europe, North America and the Asia Pacific.
