Prof. Dr Priyatna Abdurrasyid (1930-2015)

The International Institute of Space Law (IISL) is sad to note the passing on 22 May 2015 of our friend and colleague Priyatna Abdurrasyid.
His legacy to the current development of Air and Space Law in Indonesia as well as in the regions and worldwide will be always remembered.
He passed away as the Asia-Pacific Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition organised by the IISL was underway in Bandung in cooperation with the Faculty of Law of Padjadjaran University where Prof Priyatna introduced Air and Space Law in 1963.
