The 2nd Eilene M. Galloway Symposium on critical issues in Space Law was organised by the National Center for Remote Sensing, Air and Space Law of the University of Mississippi, and the IISL, in Washington DC, United States at the Cosmos Club on 6 December 2007.

The symposium addressed 'International Civil Space Cooperation: Obstacles and Opportunities'. The event involved lawyers, scientists, space agency representatives and industry. Some of the papers will be published in the IISL Proceedings.

The 2008 event will be held, also at the Cosmos Club on 11 December 2008.
